Description Postforming laminate Enamel Finish Durcon® Epoxy Resin Self-supporting Composite Phenolic
           
Features Water repellent chipboard base, 1/64", 1/32" or 1/16" depending on the line. Enamel finish: enamel finish on water repellent 32 mm chipboard base, white PVC edging, 4 mm thick with a flexible seal. Monolithic construction. Strong polymer bond in Durcon® epoxy resin is as hard as stone, but more consistent and less porous than stone. Thermosetting resin homogenously reinforced with cellulose fibres, manufactured under pressure and at high temperatures. Resins made by the polycondensation of phenol, its homologues and/or its derivatives, with aldehydes or ketones.

Physical Properties Plastic laminated with layers of wood sealed with an acid-resistant plastic laminate, with a durable surface. The PVC edging makes it more durable. This surface is very durable when installed on a melamine chipboard base. Extremely hard Good durability. Better if bonded to particle board.
